I thought I saw you today as I was walking across the street.
I turned back, to gaze taking a second look.
Only to discover it was the thoughts 💭 of you running through my mind.
That longing for you in my heart 💜 to be were you are.
Time has no barriers, neither does Love❤️
A bond so strong it goes the distance.
An inseparable love, It must be True Love.

I reside on the East Coast of the United States with my two Beautiful Daughters.
We have overcome much adversity, God has seen us through.
Having to raise these now wonderful Young Ladies as a Single Mom was not my plan.
Designing and Writing Cards began at age Five.
Since my Mother was a Teacher it a tool to teach me to read and write was Card Making, Journaling as well as creating Poems.
I naturally had a passion for making up Silly Songs and imaginative stories.
As a Teacher Assistant Trainee at twelve years old in a Mentoring Program for The Texas Day Association.
My passion for making up Silly Songs and Jingles became Transitional Songs used to help children remember in a joyful way.
My Studies include Education, coupled with Business, Religion, along with several other certifications.

I felt that the poet Rumi was calling out to me when I read this. He spoke of “My Beloved”” which I thought was a 14th Century woman from one of the Sufi countries.
It turns out, he was speaking about God and the longing he felt everyday of his life for the divine.

Your interpretation is very well written and on point. I was not familiar with the Poet Rumi work, before reading response. However before responding I took the liberty of doing some research. I must say you are exactly right. Our style especially on this piece is are quite comparable.
