Exposed…Alibi

So intense…

Confronted with the promise she once Made…

Those three words echo from her mouth, yet fall to the Ground

Like a bad habit she tosses them around, Meaningless…

Thrown around so naturally emotionless, no heart intact

Just one selfish manipulative Agenda

Things no longer added up, she was now Exposed

This time his heart bent Not

Still she rested on her natural Instinct

Her Go-To, when exposed, Her Alibi…

Standing Strong with a Heart of Forgiveness

He felt as if a weight had been lifted, as she walked Away

Somehow he knew things things be Fine

He declared, “I Will Love Again

I will not rush, I will wait with Patience

He choose to start living each day in the Moment

Graciously embracing the Future

    1. Richard, so very true indeed. Thanks for your comment. You definitely captured the essence of why Patience was so significant. It did in fact have a two-fold meaning. It was not as easily seen. Patience does allow for time for self reflection, growth, healing. If it’s a situation were grace, mercy and forgiveness was not there, after going through the process. Patience allows you time to back up, love more, recognize or release hurt, and forgive.
Thanks Richard for reading so intently. 🙏😊🌸
