Childhood Memories: The Journals

Sara has written since childhood. She laughed, as she looked at the Snoopy tattered cover with pink paper. These were the original manuscripts in her childlike handwriting with pictures. She had not forgotten the homemade, priceless cards she wrote in hopes of lightening the mood, making someone happy.
They brighten the heart of her Mother’s broken heart. The cards seem to calm her angry stricken Dad, during those iced cold, egg shell moments when he was home.
A flash of past memories lost, but never forgotten. Stored in the Her special treasure box. Holding the box tightly she began to have flashbacks
Sara grew up in The Dark House. Sparked conversations in the middle of the night. Dad coming home drunk were always explosive. Many times leading to arguments, fights, then eventually him creeping into her room at night. Supposedly, in search of the Bathroom.
It hurt to the core of her heart to have the past revisit in glimpses. Taking a deep breath, she took courage, remembering God’s protection; His Love, Grace and Mercy.
Sara found comfort in Journaling while Stargazing. The many conversations and time spent rationalizing within herself. Then talking God.
Pressing through the tears, with radiant hope soaring within her heart and the many encouraging words hemmed within.
Sara made a decision that the time was Now. She couldn’t wait another day. In an instant, she to blew the dust off the Journals, loosen those apron strings and did what brought her so much joy. The words began to overflow from within, pouring out just as the Sunset and smile brightly.

I reside on the East Coast of the United States with my two Beautiful Daughters.
We have overcome much adversity, God has seen us through.
Having to raise these now wonderful Young Ladies as a Single Mom was not my plan.

Designing and Writing Cards began at age Five.
Since my Mother was a Teacher it a tool to teach me to read and write was Card Making, Journaling as well as creating Poems.
I naturally had a passion for making up Silly Songs and imaginative stories.

As a Teacher Assistant Trainee at twelve years old in a Mentoring Program for The Texas Day Association.
My passion for making up Silly Songs and Jingles became Transitional Songs used to help children remember in a joyful way.
My Studies include Education, coupled with Business, Religion, along with several other certifications.
