We may experience Defeat
I reside on the East Coast of the United States with my two Beautiful Daughters.
We have overcome much adversity, God has seen us through.
Having to raise these now wonderful Young Ladies as a Single Mom was not my plan.
Designing and Writing Cards began at age Five.
Since my Mother was a Teacher it a tool to teach me to read and write was Card Making, Journaling as well as creating Poems.
I naturally had a passion for making up Silly Songs and imaginative stories.
As a Teacher Assistant Trainee at twelve years old in a Mentoring Program for The Texas Day Association.
My passion for making up Silly Songs and Jingles became Transitional Songs used to help children remember in a joyful way.

Yonnie, I liked the words “Embrace the Moment” at the end of the poem. It provides a positive send-off.

You are SO welcome–it’s wonderful to be a mutual blessing, isn’t it? And it happens that, when I go out–like today, to get groceries–I always pray that God will help me be a blessing to others, the way He has blessed me. I find people shopping who look like they need someone friendly to compliment their hair or what they’re wearing…just a few words, so they feel less “invisible” in the big world. And I’ve been shopping there for almost 22 yrs, so I know many of the employees–which means I stop and talk to them. I leave the store with God’s abundant provisions–and a happy heart that feels “of use” to HIM. And now I know that I blessed you too, so I feel RICH! ❤

It is indeed wonderful to be a mutual blessing. What a wonderful testimonial. Being kind, offering love and smile with friendly conversation goes a long way. You find out, a lot about others.

So true Yonnie! We make choices, sometimes right, sometimes wrong, but we can learn from it all. As you said, we need to dig deeper to see everything, to see the positive points we can learn and use forward. Something like as I was watching a little chipmunk sitting on my knee this morning, digging deeper there is much we can learn from such a small animal. Okay, maybe a bad example, but your poem made me think of that time this morning. I hope you have a wonderful day!😄

“We are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body” (2: Cor. 4: 8-10).

Your comments are as much fun to read as your blog, Yonnie. I loved your shopping story – ” I leave the store with God’s abundant provisions–and a happy heart that feels ‘of use’ to HIM.” I love that feeling! I am serving at the Food Bank today. ❤

Greatly expressed, my friend 🙂
To look deeper means also to become aware of things which so far have slipped our mind – this deeper look into ourselves is a developing way of our consciousness – to bury out treasures hidden in us and bring them into the light of understanding.
Thank you very much for sharing, my dear friend Yonnie 🙂
Hugs and love
