Never Enough

Never enough always wanting more, demanding more, complaining it’s a bore.

It’s just NEVER enough!

Can you do this and that.

Go here and there, I swear!

It’s just NEVER enough!

You promised, you said?

Why should I be the one.

The one to do it.

It’s just NEVER enough!

Can’t they see I have no time for me?

It’s just NEVER enough!

Questioning me about this and that.

Why can’t I just get it?

Money gone, feeling I’m all alone.

It’s just NEVER enough!

Can we get something to eat?

Can I just be at peace?

Zipping here, driving there.

Just seem like, they don’t care.

LORD, I thank you that you are more than enough. You have given us so much.

ALL we NEED is in you.

ALL we is to be be true to you.

LEARN to be content, although the money is spent.

We have everything we need.

You are more that ENOUGH!

Shimmering Light

After walking in the cool of the night, through the woods.

Darkness grew thicker,

Every tree looked the same.

Coldness settled in quickly, as she searched for a way out.

Hoping to find the path home.

There in the distance was a shimmer of light.

Drawing closer pressing through the covered trail.

The light seem to from a lantern sitting in window of the small cabin.

Overwhelmed with the joy of finding safety.

Tears begin to fall, drenching her face.

That shimmering light seemed even brighter, as she wiped her tears away.

It gave her a sense of hope, her sight clearer.

She was led to the place.

No longer lost, but found.

The Light guided her Home.

FOGGY

Thick clouds…Visibility taunted, it is as though your driving blindly, through the mountains of life.
Distracted by thoughts of yesterday's journey playing swiftly in your mind. It's impossible to see, touch or sense moving fast, like the speed of light.

What could happen next?
Foggy…

Overwhelming thoughts no sense of direction. Feeling of loneness, lost in the fog. Showing up for an appointment two weeks early. Confused, thrown off as you confidently smiled, stepped to the desk and ask for the lady.

You sit back down and wonder what is taking so long, you showed up on time dressed so professional. Suddenly your name is called, you smile step into the office, where you are comforted and told "you don't have an appointment at all."

Fear attempts to grip me and feelings of embarrassment too, today was one of those FOGGY off days that come and go.

We must be determined to NEVER GIVE UP! The struggle is real, but we don't have to do it alone or no longer be bound by silence.

So Whether you have PTSD from serving or a tragedy, suffered a concussion that left you with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), or experience other challenges that have tried to break you. The mere fact that you are reading this piece, whether for yourself or someone else.

Speak Up, Ask

Most of the time words go unsaid, rehearsed over and over in your head.
Trying to make sense of it, seems to have no end.

Anger and bitterness then creeps in
Vengeance and blame is all that can be seen
Blinded by the darkness now your locked in.

What I have found is that asking questions not only bring about understanding, but it also helps one to heal.

Rediscovering oneself, life, and the people around us allows us to have a greater appreciation for one another. The moment we release the question it takes on life, it begins to heal make us whole.

Beware of those on the rebound from a recent breakup.
They may stalk you, call you or track you down.
In hopes of making you the companion to fill their void.

The truth is friendship requires time, trust and common ground. The links that grow and extend a life time.

I should know it happened to me…

I am healed and I am free…

I no longer blame myself…

Personally I enjoy being kind to others. Some would say it’s my Texas Southern Hospitality or even the D.N.A. of my Father, who is Love.

My Father’s fruit shine bright in me, it is as joyous as can be. I enjoy encouraging and serving others. Whether I’m in the classroom, advocating or volunteering. The truth must be told that patience is a virtue. While faith requires one to trust in that which cannot seen. So don’t you give up. Gentleness is “Stands High”with outward downpour of goodness. Humility is vital for self-control, it is essential in dealing with Life.

We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God. It was all given to us by God’s own power, when we learned he had invited us to share in his wonderful goodness. 2 Peter 1:3

Time Waits On No One

Time waits on no one, it is not stopping.
Time doesn’t miss a beat.
Within seconds a moment will pass. Missed Opportunities, missed appointments, oh my can I relate, is it to late?

Another day, another chance, a time to rest or a time to go on again.
Listen hard, focus and breathe, you know it is not over.

Before you were formed in your mothers womb GOD, had a blueprint.
His plan and his purpose for your life.
Fret not, GOD is not done blessing you!

That’s why Jesus Christ died on the cross, you see! The blood of JESUS covers all sin. HE died on the cross for you and me.

This is your time, this is your moment, GOD is not done blessing you.
Stand STRONG, in the LORD and in the POWER of HIS might.

Day by day transformation will come, pray, study the Word of God, be planted in in a bible based church will help you grow to become the VICTORIOUS one.
