As I sit here reflecting , I smile & give THANKS unto the LORD because truly he is GOOD!
When the voice of distraction tried to block me and and call my name, “saying that you will not make it!”
I IMMEDIATELY DENOUNCED it in JESUS NAME!
Many weapons may form, but shall not prosper. I am more than a CONQUEROR in CHRIST JESUS!
I will TRUST in the LORD with ALL my heart, mind & soul.
These are not JUST some words on a page, but the REALITY of my FAITH in GOD!
SINCE I KNOW, IF GOD BE FOR ME whoo….what…., can be against me.
Whether in a storm, walking or passing through.
No matter what life circumstances may hold for you, put your TRUST in JESUS.
NEVER GIVE UP!
Your FAITH in HIM will SEE you THROUGH!

OKRA’S

Birthday Celebration, Louisiana Style.

It was Sunday, the Sun beamed. It was Pat’s special day. The rain stopped, the sun beamed in glee. Friend’s, who are like family meant at Okra’s in Old Town Manassas. It was like being transported to Bourbon Street, New Orleans. Okra’s offered a nice variety of Cajun and Creole Appetizers, Entree’s and Desserts. Blackened Catfish is their top seller and they were out. The menu, music vibe, the decor, plus hospitality gives you that Southern feeling.

The Alligator and Crawfish appetizers were so delicious. Shrimp and Grits were a hit, along with Blackened Salmon and Jambalaya. We had a wonderful time of celebration fun, food and fellowship.

Next time your in the Northern Virginia or even passing through, stop in.
